According to the graph,Japanese men generrary do less housework than men in Germany and the U.K. They are far less helpful what it comes to shopping, preparing meals, cleaning the table, helping children with homework, taking care of babies and taking care of parents. This is partly because Japanese men have been told mainly by their parents that men should not do household chores, which are for women, and partly because they assume quite wrongly that they are exempted from housework, such as taking care of babies and parents, because they work hard in office to earn their living. I think Japanese men should be more considerable towards their wives who work as hard as they do and be more willing to help them.
